H omecoming 2007 was an amazing experience, combining new and old
traditions to create a fabulous array of exciting activities.
Pre-Homecoming was the Barrel Race, with the Seniors demonstrat-
ing their school spirit by contributing the most and taking away the win.
There was the Canned Food Drive and the Used Book Drive, where
the entire school showed just how generous we can be; the Juniors
won both of these events. The Alumni Contest was also held, having
students contact graduates of our school, new and old; the Seniors
dominated this contest.
Homecoming Week this year consisted of the customary dress up
days, Field Day, and the new, outrageously successful, Indian Upris-
ing, including skits, booths, performances, and fireworks. Topping it all
off, what all of the spirit and pep was geared toward, was the football
game. Our team fought like warriors, stomping the field until the very
last play, showing what a true Indian is made of.
The entire occasion was just another step on our Journey, showing that
courage, compassion, faith, and spirit can turn any event into a memory
we'll all remember fondly when we look back on the path we've made.
