I asked the middle school Journalism class to
choose a teacher the absolutely have to have in the
book and they chose Mrs. Wumphries. I initially
said pick another teacher because we spotlighted
her las! year. ~ul !hey were adamant and change
my mind. Wumphries students love her and fee
she offers something refreshing to the classroom
She has always loved working with kids. So.
when she grew up she decided lo work in the
public school system. Waving worked with kids
the past inspired her lo leach. Wer favorite thing
about leaching is watching her students mature
and graduate. The one thing she didn't expec'
was how much hard work and patience leach1ng
requires. She doesn't just leach she forms
relationships with her students and so I guess that's
why they chose her. again.
