                                                                           I asked  the  middle  school  Journalism  class  to
                                                                       choose  a  teacher  the  absolutely have  to  have  in  the
                                                                       book  and  they  chose  Mrs.  Wumphries.  I initially
                                                                       said  pick  another  teacher  because  we  spotlighted
                                                                       her las!  year.  ~ul !hey were  adamant and change
                                                                       my  mind.  Wumphries  students  love  her  and  fee
                                                                       she  offers  something  refreshing  to  the  classroom
                                                                       She  has  always  loved  working  with  kids.  So.

                                                                       when  she  grew  up  she  decided  lo  work  in  the
                                                                       public  school  system.  Waving  worked  with  kids
                                                                       the  past  inspired  her  lo  leach.  Wer  favorite  thing
                                                                       about  leaching  is  watching  her  students  mature
                                                                       and  graduate.  The  one  thing  she  didn't  expec'
                                                                       was  how  much  hard  work  and  patience  leach1ng
                                                                       requires.  She  doesn't just  leach  she  forms
                                                                       relationships  with  her students and so I guess that's
                                                                       why  they  chose  her.  again.
