that most of the ranch house did not even exist, as the parts that showed on TV were just a front, with
nothing behind it. All of the interior scenes of the ranch house on the Ponderosa were apparently shot at
some other location, because there were no rooms at that house.
From there we headed back toward Lake City, and we had put about 8,000 miles on that car after we left
New York City, and were gone almost exactly 6 weeks. That trip with Morris Williams was one of the
highlights of my life, and one of the things that I will go to my grave remembering.
