The Columbia High School nine has some great matenal 1n the form of pitchers,
Harold Taylor and Bobby Carter Both of these boys have seen serv1ce for three years
and this should be the1r year. When you throw ·in heavy-h1ttmg f1rst baseman John
Woods you'll have a combination that IS hard to beat.
When you add the two Higgs boys, Donald and Robert. to the infield a ball is
going to have a hard time getting away. Even 1f 1t does, though, Sen1or Stanley Anders
will be on top of it before it has bounced tw1ce in the outfield.
When you put all these boys together the rest of the schools in the conference
are going to find it rough going when they cross bats w1th the "Fighting Tiger" nine.
