The "Fighting Tiger" Track Team got off to a flying start when they made a very
1mpressive showing at the annual Florida Relays.
The next to feel the cmders flying from the fleet heels of the T1gers were the
schools attend1ng the P. K Younge Relays The Spnnt Medley Relay Team of Gene
Cox, Lynwood Burns, Cook1e Johnson, and Lamar Ell1s set a new Relays record in the
event for the top performance of the day Cox and Ellis have turned 1n favorable times
in the Century event with 105 and 103 respect1vely Lynwood Burns has stopped the
clock at 23.9 1n the 220.
With four more meets on schedule the T1ger Track team will be heard from.
