It 1s a non-prof1t organ1zat1on. The only a1m of the club 1s to hand on the torch of class1cal Civilization
1n the modern world They believe that a knowledge of the class1cal world of Greece and Rome wdl help
them to understand better the governments, laws, l1teratures. languages, and arts of today
Each year one spec1al proJect 1s earned out by the ent1re group In the school year 1951-1952, the
club went to Jacksonville. Flonda. to see the p1cture "Quo Vad1s" (Wh ther goest thou:>). The 1952-
1953 proJeCt was a Roman Banquet The long range goal 1s a tnp to the museum at Sarasota where
many claSSICal works of art are d1splayed.
