Annually, the Veterans of Foreign .
Wars of the United States sponsors
a National Broadcast Script writing
contest. This contest is designed to
give high school students the op-
portunity to voice their opinions on
a patriotic theme.

This year the theme was " My Re-
sponsibility to America." Each con-
testant wrote a 3-5 minute script
and read it to the judges on October
24, 1977.
