In 1970, the lntramurals Council was
formed and has since been under the di-
rection of Richard Anders. The council
meets once a month, but the members
are busy throughout the year in an effort
to foster good intramural program. The
publicity of activities and the organiza-
tion of sports competition are duties of
the lntramurals Council. lntramurals al-
low individuals with athletic ability the op-
portunity to compete vigorously and not
have the pressures of joining a team.
