The Home Ec Department prepares
both male and female for the basics of
good cooking and sewing.
With clothing prices going up, sewing
your own clothes proves to be more
economical. Also, the students keep up
with the latest fashion.
The cooking department not only
teaches how to cook well, but also
teaches good cooking. Health and nu-
trition are covered in this class. De-
partment heads are: south campus,
Mrs. Louise Ring and north campus,
Mrs. Evelyn Carter.
The gifted and handicapped programs
at this school are exceptional as they Patricia Clark
offer not only outstanding classes and
teachers, but also offer a wide range of
field trips, and outside interest groups.
These classes emphasize expanding the
human body, both physical and men-
tal, to the extent that benefits the stu-
dent the most.
