Art Club

The Art Club was very busy this
year under the leadership of Beth
Gall - President, Line Petersen -
Vice President, David Tannenbaum -
Treasurer, and Tessa Barton
Officer at large.
In November Mr. D. Owens and
Mrs. C. Hines, co-advisers of the Art
Club, took members to the Alhambra
Dinner Theatre in Jacksonville for a
performance of Charles Dickens' "A
Christmas Carol." One member said,
"It was interesting, but it was too
dark in the theatre to see what we
were eating!"
Members also took a trip to the
Florida State Fair in Tampa in
February.
When asked about her year in Art
Club, a senior replied, "I enjoyed
being in Art Club this year; my
favorite events were the trips to
Alhambra and the Fair."

Art Club is not only for the "serious·· art students. Mrs. Mr. Owens is not only a helpful, understanding sponsor, he is also a great art teacher. Coach Ower
