On January 10, 1991 the tenth, eleventh, and twelfth grade girls made a mad dash to the
south end of the campus. They were all decked out in sweats, T-shirts and cleats, and were
carrying their gloves, and brought their ambitious bats along. What was the cause of this
unusual migration? Why! It was the first day of softball tryouts, of course! Even though
they had not started their games when the yearbook went to press everyone was confident
the team would be successful. There were three new coaches this year: Coach Waldron,
Coach Markham, and Coach Freeman. Lady
