How about some spuds! Shane Waldron bags taters and keeps on smiling!
"Work?" Who said such a dirty four-letter word? Actually
it's a pretty common word around school. We all need money, and
lots of it. Most people work for the same reasons: car payments,
insurance, and spending money. The majority of students actually
enjoy their jobs, but others say that they wouldn't work if they
didn't have to. Being employed while still in school is a hard job,
considering you have to go to school, then go to work, then go home
and do homework. It becomes especially difficult when long-term
assignments are due. Students say it's harder to make good grades.
Shane Waldron says,"lt's the natural routine, you start working
and you start failing." Vickie Payne agrees with Shane. Some
students, however, claim that their grades were already low,
even before they started working.- by Leslie Koberlein
