THAT SPIRIT

Pep rallies actually begin on Monday
and extend until Wednesday with the
preparation of the program. The
varsity cheerleaders work with their
sponsor and other school groups to plan
and organize the pep rallies. On
Thursday nights, members from each
class get together to have a poster
party, hoping they will be the winners
of the spirit stick.
Friday is full of confusion. Everyone is
running around hanging posters,
practicing cheers and dances, and
selling spirit pins and stickers. Finally
the pep rally begins and the gym
becomes full of spirit. Students cheer
their hearts out for their class and
their Tigers hoping to win the spirit
stick.
This year the SENIORS dominated
the pep rallies ... all but one, the
Sophomores got lucky, and the Juniors,
well you know, maybe next year.
Although the classes are competing
against each other they're all cheering
for the same team - THE TIGERS.
