"All work and no play'' is what
many students at Columbia High
hear as they head to work each
day. Balancing a job, school work,
family and friends is really hard to
do, especially as a young adult.
Many students handle it with open
minds and confidence.
There are many advantages to
working: the sense of independence,
the ability to take care of minor
situations (such as money for
football games, movies, dances, etc.)
without running to mom or dad,
experiencing team work and unity
between others who may work in the
same environment. Working students
can be more socially involved by
meeting new people each day.
Dedication and hard work is
what CHS students exemplify, not
only in school, but also at work.
