SCHOOL  and  WORK                             GRADES  and  MONEY




          CBE  is  a  co-op  club  where  all  members
          are  employed  in  an  office  position,  as
          well  as  members  of  a  class.   CBE  is
          designed  to  train  students  in  jobs  which
          relate  to  secretarial  and  clerical  work.  It
          is  a  flexible  plan  for  training  students  for
          opportunities  in  the  business  world.  This
          gives  students  a  chance  to  earn  money
          while  attending  school.  It  is  a  joint  effort
          by  the  school,  the  community,  and  the
          students.   Ms.  Moses  checks  with
          students  employers  before  each  six
          weeks  to  recieve  a  report  on  the  students
          work  performance  and  progress.   The
          students  recieves  a  grade  based  on  their
          work  in  classroom  and  on  their  job.
            CBE  goals  are  to  develop  competent
          skilled  employees,  strengthen  confidence
          of  the  students  and  in  their  work,  and

              CECF  is  a  vocational  student
           organization  whose  program  of
           leadership and personal development is
           specifically  designed  for  students
           enrolled  in  cooperative  vocational
           education  programs  in  Florida  schools
           and who are in the eleventh and twelve
           grades.
              CECF is designed to complement and
           supplement and regular OCT program by
           providing members  the opportunity  to
           expand  their  educational  experiences
           through  competitive  events  and  social
           activities.
              Students  enrolled  in  OCT  attend
           school  part-time  and  work  part-time.
