Health Occupations Students of America is composed of members who are enrolled in the Health
Occupations class. In addition to learning about the various health related fields, students also have on-
the-job experience in local hospitals. They work with the patient assisting, as needed.
In October, HOSA held a blood drive, for all students who wished to participate. This year the HOSA
club held a competition against Suwannee High School and won. A large impressive trophy was given to
the club.

The purpose of Future Homemakers of
America is to develop personal growth in
the family and leadership skills. FHA
activities include chapter meetings, state
conventions, and school service projects.

FHA sells doughnuts and juice for 25 cents
in the morning. This activity is open for
all students. FHA is the sponsor of the
Tiger Diner. The Tiger Diner allows
teachers to eat something instead of
cafeteria food.
