Christmas was made a special time of the year because Jesus was
born. However, Christmas at CHS crosses all religious lines as students
show their spirit and try to show kindness to their fellow students and
teachers.
One of the big activities at Christmas is the HRS Christmas party,
sponsored by Beta Club. Children from underprivileged homes around
the county are invited by HRS and the school to participate. FFA, Key
Club, Student Council, and VICA were the participating clubs that
helped Beta Club. Students brought presents for the children and the
clubs bought bicycles and larger gifts for the children.
