Staff: Smooth Operators

School staff at Columbia High, though
not as apparent as teachers, play a vital
role in the smooth operation of the school.
They prepare our lunches, keep tabs on
attendance, insure the school is clean and
well-ordered, keep records, track
obligations, and assure that everyone is in
the right class for their achievement level.
Without them, teachers would have a
huge workload, and the campus as a whole
would certainly suffer. Also, they give
students a good excuse to get out of class to
take care of various problems, which
students and teachers probably both
appreciate.
Mainly, though, thanks to their
efforts, the campus is clean, lunch is
delicious, records and obligations arc kept,
