               Once again, baseball
season Is underway with a new
coach. But at least this time he Is a
         home-town favorite. For the 1995
season Coach Billy Hale will be
         leading the varsity baseball team.
Most of the players already know
        Coach Hale so the transition
        shouldn't be too difficult.
The team will be led by a Andrew Bennett Kevin Jackson Josh Todd
group of eight seniors. Coming off a Kris Daniels
        much Improved summer season,
and actually having a field to
practice on this year, the '95
        baseball season Is looking very
        promising.
               The team that everyone saw
last year was a young team. Over
        the summer they matured by
coming together and being on the
upside of things, unlike the '94
season. Last year the Tigers lost
        many games by one run.
The team hopes to turn those
        games around this year ·and
        dominate the District. This team
could be the turning point for the
        baseball program at C.H.S. The
       players sure hope so.
