The Colophon
The 50th volume of The Columbian, " ow and Then" was published by
Delmar /Herff Jones Publishing and Printing Company in Charlotte, orth Carolina.
The annual has 563 pages plus 16 autograph pages that are Smyth Sewn and have a
trim of 9x12. The paper stock was 0°'o gloss enamel. Black was the base ink color.
The type used was Palintino in 9 point.
The cover is composed of 160 point binders board. It is a with PMS 2425
purple ink with FM-3 embos ed gold foil. The Cover is designed in two different
colors with a FM-3 gold foil rose. The endsheets are printed in complimentary
colors.
Only 1000 copies of The Columbian were printed.
