Diana,
It's been a uery short 17 years. It
hardly seems possible that m just a
few months you will be graduated
from high school and headed to
Wesleyan Uniuersity. It seems lil<e
only yesterday that they laid you in
my arms in that little hospital in
Dpp, Alabama. We'ue had our ups and
downs, with so many changes
through the years, but all in I must
say that you'ue come out a winner.
I'm uery proud of you and all that
you haue become. Whateuer road you
euentually tal<e in life will be
successful for you and I will always
be proud of you. (Especially since you
finally l<now where to find the
elbow grease.) I'm uery proud to be
your mother, euen if eueryone thinks
we're sisters.
Good lucl< in euerything you do
from here on out and always l<now
that I will support you and be there
for you.
I LOUE YOU,
Mom .......
