HOBY SCHOLARSHIP: AMY HUDDLESTON
The HOBY (Hugh O'Brian Youth Leadership) Program
cholarship was awarded to sophomore Amy Huddleston.
Sophomore candidates had to write an essay on a given
topic by HOBY; one winner was then selected on the basis
of the essay to participate in the all-paid weekend seminar
in Tallahassee.
Casey wrote the winning essay to merit a trip to
Ireland in April. Casey joined hundreds of other
North Florida students who wrote essays on their
roles in the new century. She will spend ten days
in Ireland as part of the Young Columbus program.
