The CHS Academic Team had an exceptional season.
The Varsity team had a perfect season,
winning all of the eight regular matches and the
divisional tournament to boot. The Varsity A-Team also
placed second at the conference tournament. The Junior
Varsity team had a good season, finishing 5-3. The JV team
also placed first at the divisional tournament. Both teams
had a blast at Walt Disney World during the State
Tournament.
The Varsity Academic Team members are: Rebah
Solomon, captain, Calvin Adams, Jamie Sipp, Brian
Norman, and Victoria Brush. The JV members are: lan
Fritz, captain, Jackie Abernathy, Monica West, and
Suzanne Crews. Both teams are coached by Martha
Baker.
