The National Honor Society was formed in 1921 with the hope to recognize and encourage academic achievement while developmg other charac-
teristics essential to citizens. The ideals of scholarship, character, service, and leadership are VItal for every member to exemplify. NHS reaches out
to the community by hosting a veteran's (hristmas party and helping out w1th the local Think Sharp competition. Smaller projects that take place
d"~ throughout the year include tutoring for fellow peers and preparing gifts for Teacher Appreciation Week.
