Sometimes we get the urge to tag somethmg. maybe a
friend's truck or even a teacher's car. Either way, taggmg cars usually con-
sist of stiCky notes or w1ndow paint. The reactions range from "Aw. how
sweet!" to "I could strangle someone!" but sometimes 1t is just impossible
to resist. Last year, the yearbook staff tagged students' cars with fake
parking tickets, but they were actually remmders to buy a yearbook. It was
clever. but that was one of those "I could strangle someone" moments.
A dictionary's definition an a 1m less or
casual scribble. design. or sketch. Ours. the savior of
all classroom boredom. We all do it at some point or
another. even if 1t is JUSt squ1ggly lines on our notes
or st1ck figures in the margin Some create master-
pieces on their class work and others simply color
in blank spaces with h1ghlighter marks. As teachers
drone on with mind-numbing lectures and work,
doodling acts as an escape· the hero to redeem us
from our boredom. From boys' names and thoughts.
to lines. stick figures. and a sketch of the Statue ol
Liberty holding an umbrella, doodles will always be
there to save students from tedious classes.
