2007-2008 Teacher of the Year
Mrs. Stephanie Bundy has been teaching at Fort
White since 2000, when the doors first opened. Be-
fore coming to Ft. White, Mrs. Bundy taught at CHS
and in Macclenny, and currently teaches Anatomy
& Physiology and Chemistry here on campus. She
said that she was shocked when she found out she
won teacher of the year, and who wouldn't be!? One
of her favorite parts of her job is talking to the stu-
dents, and when asked if she had any other com-
ments about winning, Mrs. Bundy replied, "I like my
parking space!" Sounds like there are some perks to
being teacher of the year!
2007-2008 Non-Instructional
Staff of the Year
Mrs. Loretta Vaugn has been working at Ft. White
since it's beginning days, eight whole years now.
Popularly known as the "attendence lady," Mrs.
Vaugn stays busy taking care of the daily atten-
dence, reading your excuse notes, writing admit
slips, and numerous other "behind the scenes"
kind of things. She said that she was very sur-
prised when she found out that she won, and
honestly had no idea. She also said that "it is truly
an honor, because there are so many deserving
employees here."
Kenneth P. Kidd Mathmatics
Educator of the Year
Mrs. Carol Martin recieved her award in October
2007. The award is given to recognize an indi-
vidual's outstanding contributions to mathmatics
education. The person has to be active in math
education in Florida for at least ten years, be pro-
fessionally active, and they have to have made
a significant contribution at the local, state, or
national level; the latter of which Mrs. Martin has
far exceeded through her numerous educational
projects. By: Kady Smith
