FRO THE AI OFFICE .. I I I
Mr. Philip Browning: Principal
One of the most interesting men in school is the princi-
pal. You question this? Well, you shouldn't. Our principal,
Mr. Browning, is one of the best qualified men to serve in
this job. To some students a principal is supposed to be
the number I enemy. If you really get to know Mr. Browning
I'm sure you would change your mind.
Mr. Browning graduated from West Florida in 1938. In
March of 1941 he moved to Lake City. Among the subjects
that he has taught are agriculture, science and math! As a
principal his principal job is the hiring and firing of all
personnel of Lake City Jr. High. Mr. Browning told us that
he feels more open minded and considerate than when he
started. We students feel the same. We are proud of our
principal, Mr. Browning.
Mr. Morris Williams: Assistant Principal
If you ever get a chance some day you might take a look
in the workroom; for there is a man who the room was more
than likely named after. Mr. Morris Williams is Junior
High's hard-working Vice-Principal. Constantly, he lightens
Mr. Browning's burdens while also lending a hand to any
student. If you want to discuss a subject, ask a question,
or even hear the latest joke, just go to the workroom and
have a ball!
