                                              REPORTS ON STATE ACTIVE DUTY

                          Guard duty at Raiford, Florida



                                State Prison Farm March 11, 1933 .
                          Upon the request of the Superintendent of the State Prison Farm
                          at Raiford, Florida, a detail of 6 enlisted men of Company "H"
                          124th Infantry, under command of’Capt. E. A. Wright, and equipped
                          with machine guns, afforded a.-precautionary measure incident to the
                          reception of Giuseppe'- Zangara charged with the assassination
                          of Mayor Anton Cermack of Chicago. No disorders reported.







                          Traffic control duty in Gainesville, Florida
                                Under Command of Capt. H. G. Cochran, 4 officers and 52
                          •enlisted men of Tank Company (Medium) , 124th Infantry Regiment,
                          were ordered to active duty effective 18 Nov. 1950, for purpose
                          of aiding civil authorities in Traffic Control in the Gainesville
                          area during the Miami University and University of Florida
                          Football game. These troops were relieved from active
                          State service at 0100 hours, 19 Nov. 1950
