LOST WHISTLE
Roy Acuff, famous early country singer, sang a train song called "The
Wabash Cannon Ball" and whistled the sound of the train whistle. When a
dentist later pulled one of his teeth he couldn't whistle any more and
he told people "The dentist pulled my whistle."
