Some Stuff I Wrote and Some Stuff I Didn't (2011) H. Morris Williams

measured shot of 54 feet to end the third quarter. These heroics
earned the 5’ 8” Zinnerman the nickname “The Little Giant”.
*Zinnerman was the game’s high scorer in at least eight games.

Perhaps honoring the surviving members and their coach at the
halftime of a CHS game this coming basketball season can revitalize
the memory of this historic team.

                   WHITE SPRINGS UMC

Last Sunday the members of the White Springs United Methodist

presenting a $15,000 check to Mike Galloway, President and CEO of
the Florida United Methodist Children’s Home.

This ultra generous donation represents an average $500 donation
per member for the small church.

Also, the church has a sparkling new steeple. Members Don and
Beverly Davis in memory of their parents, Rev. and Mrs. Francis
Smelt and Rev. and Mrs. C.B. Davis, provided it. Rev. Smelt served
the church from 1953-1957 and Rev. Davis served from 1957 to

The church thanks PCS for their help in installing the soaring steeple.
