officer in Lake City and
Columbia County
for many years.
The county superintendents of public instruction that decade
were George R. Graham (1929 - 1936) and R.O. Williams (1936
- 1945).
The police chiefs that decade were John F. Baker (1925 -
1930), W.P. Allison (1930 - 1933), J.A. Hall (1933 - 1935), C.M.
Rogers (1935 - 1937), and J.A. Hall (1937 - 1944).
The mayors of Lake City that decade were M.L. Pympton
(1925 - 1933), A.J. Rountree (1933 - 1935), R.W. Farnell (1935
- 1937), and George B. Douglass (1937 - 1943).
