The newspaper of the
Naval Air Station
The name of the newspaper, Pee Vee, probably comes from
the fact that the two main airplanes stationed at the Lake City Naval
Air Station were PV-1 Venturas and PV-2 Harpoons. The newspaper
title Pee Vee is a play on the names of the planes: PV=P(ee) V(ee).
