                                                      PREFACE




                          I have lived in Columbia County, Florida, all my life. From an early age,
                          it came naturally to me to love my county and our people. I have
                          enjoyed writing about both from time to time.

                         This ‘book’ is a collection of some newspaper columns I wrote from
                          1992-1994.


                          I hope you will enjoy reading (or possibly re-reading) them.

                         All proceeds from the sale of this book will go to support the local
                          school museum.
