The City Council may at any time correct or 29/257
cause to be corrected any omissions or errors
in the city assessment roll or rolls.
*Sec. 58. All taxes on the assessment roll
shall for each become due and payable immediately
as soon as the assessment roll shall come into the
hands of the Tax Collector, of which he shall at
once give notice by publication at least once in some
newspaper published in the city. The collection
of all such taxes remained due and unpaid after
three months next after the publication of such
notice, shall be enforced in the manner hereinafter
provided and interest at the rate of ten per cent,
per annum from the date of said publication of
notice by the Tax Collector, shall be added thereto,
and collected as part of the tax.
Sec. 60. The Collector may collect taxes re
maining due on personal property on the first
day of April by levy upon and sale of such property,
or any part thereof. And his written description
of such property, with the date of assessment and
amount due, and any costs, shall be filed with
the City Clerk at the time of such levy. At least
fifteen days’ notice of any sale under such levy, giv
ing time and place of sale, shall be given by the Col
lector by posting in at least three public places,
or by at least three insertions in some newspaper
in said city. When such property can not be
readily moved to the place of sale at the door of the
City Hall or Council Chamber, it may be sold
where it is located in said city.

Chapter 6362. Act repeals Sections 59, 61, 62
and 63 of the City Charter.
