                    Sec. 3. The issuance of bonds for various
               purposes may be by said ordinance submitted                         50/257
               together or may be so submitted to the voters as
               to permit the approval of the issuance of bonds for
               certain purposes and the rejection of the pro­
               position to issue bonds for other purposes, and in
               such event the issuance of bonds for the purposes
               approved by the electors and only for those pur­
               poses shall be authorized.

                    Sec. 4. All laws and parts of laws in conflict
               with or limiting any of the provisions of this Act,
               are to the extent of such conflict hereby repealed.
                    Sec. 5. This Act shall take effect immediately.

                            CHAPTER 5815. (No. 220.)

               AN ACT Validating Certain Obligations Contracted
                    for the sum of $43,200 by the City of Lake

                    City during the years 1906 and 1907, Authoriz­
                    ing said City to Issue Bonds for the Payment
                    of said Indebtedness, and Providing for the
                    Payment of said Bonds.

                    Whereas, At divers times during the years
                1906 and 1907, the City of Lake City, borrowed
               several sums of money aggregating Forty Three
               Thousand, Two Hundred Dollars, and issued
               evidences of said indebtedness in the form of bonds
               or promissory notes for the payment of the money
               so borrowed, due one year after date of each of
               said obligations, with interest at the rate of eight
               per cent, per annum after maturity, and the
               different persons loaning said sums of money
