City of Lake City

AS AMENDED

Chapter 5091, of Laws of Florida

AN ACT to Abolish the Present Municipal Gov­
ernment of the Town of Lake City, in the
County of Columbia, and State of Florida, and to
Establish, Organize and Constitute a Munici­
pality to be Known and Designated as the City
of Lake City, and to Define its Territorial
Boundaries, and to Provide for its Jurisdic­
tion, Powers and Privileges.

Be it Enacted by the Legislature of the State of Florida:

Section 1. That the present municipal govern­
ment of the town of Lake City is hereby abolished.

Sec. 2. That a municipality to be known and
designated as the City of Lake City, is hereby
established, organized and constituted in the
County of Columbia, and State of Florida, the ter­
ritorial boundaries of which shall be as follows:
Begin at the center of Block 20, known as
Public or Court House Square; thence one mile
north, thence run east one mile, thence south two
miles, thence west two miles, thence north two
miles, thence east one mile to a point one mile
