The girls basketball team played
under the handicap of lack of fan
support. Even though the gym was
packed by the boys basketball team,
the more successful girls team
played in eerie silence much of the
time. It seems a bit unjust, after all,
they devote long hours to practice.
Many high school sports regarded as
" minor" could become major if they
were supported well enough.
Sparked by enthusiastic seniors and
fine coaching, they fought exciting
battles against other conference
schools.
