Memories
Today has many memories,
yours and mine.
Each locked away silently,
in a time warp of time.
Memories of laughter,
and happiness inside.
Each close to our heart,
some mingled in pride.
Memories of crying,
and being real sad.
Each time we messed up,
now, it wasn't so bad.
Memories of trying,
and messing it up.
We laughed and we cried,
but never gave up.
These are all memories,
I'll always hold dear.
Each minute, each second,
each day of the year.
And now that schools over,·
and the moments depart.
The moments will stay,
down deep in my heart.
The Greatest Love of all
He made all the flowers,
the honey and the bee.
The rain that patters on the roof,
the sun that's rays warm me.
He made the sky, the sky of blue,
that darkens in the night.
He made the stars the stars above,
that twinkle in the night.
He made the rainbow long and wide,
with all the colors known.
I'd love to know what's at it's end.
Is the Lord there on His throne?
He made the oak tree and the pine
their leafy branches reach
To the Lord, the wonderful Lord
who took some time with each.
He made all the animals,
from the kitten to the bear.
It must have taken alot of time,
alot of love and care.
I'm glad to know He took the time,
to do these things for me.
To make this world a beautiful place,
and still have time for me.
