JUMP!  KICK!  DANCE!!!











                                                                         The Tigerettes have performed at pep rallies, football games, compe-
                                                                  titons,  and  community events, such  as the Miss Olustee Pageant and the Little
                                                               Miss Columbia  County  Pageant.
                                                                This year at the Optimist Dance Team Contest the Tigerettes placed first in the Body
                                                               Rock division with their high energy dance to "Miss You Much". They placed second in
                                                               the Prop  division with  a dance to "Smooth Criminal." They placed Superior over all.
                                                               Three girls tried out for All-Star Girl, Patti Witt, Michele Paphides, and Lisa Cox. Out of
                                                               nearly two  hundred  girls  trying  out  for the  preliminary competition, they narrowed  it
                                                               down to forty girls and all three of our girls made ill The judges then chose twelve girls
                                                               to be  on  the  All  Star Team,  and  Lisa  Cox  made  ill  Congratulations  Lisal

       The  Dallas group enjoys a shopping  spree at the Limited Express. This is just
       one  of the  many  stores  at  the  famous  Galleria  that the Tigerettes enjoyed.

















                                                             The  Tigerettes  gather  around  their  sponsor,  Mrs. Kay  Dekle,  for  a  group  photo. They
                                                             celebrate the annual Christmas party at the Shriners Club exchanging presents, feasting
                                                             on  Christmas  dinner,  and  Seniors  remembering  the  good  old  times.


        Leslie, Kim,  Krista, Kathy,  Katrina, Amy,  Shannon,  Donna,  Krissy, Elisha, Amy,
        Jamina, Jennifer, and Recee were all smiles as they lay on the floor resting. This
        was  one  of their  favorite  things  to  do  during  their spare  time  at  camp.



                                                                    At the NCA Superstar Dance Camp in Statesboro, GA thirteen girls on the
                                                                   team received pink ribbons which are awarded to the girls who show talent,
                                                                   poise, discipline, effort and outstanding ability. Only a few g~rls from the two
                                                                   hundred attending camp received this cherished ribbon. The Superstar Girl
                                                                   Nominees receiving pink ribbons were Barbara Berry, Lisa Cox, Kim  Dekle,
                                                                   Becky  Jorgensen,  Krista  Kalb,  Leslie  McDaris,  Laurie  McKinney,  Crystal
                                                                   Nelson, Donna Outlaw, Michele Paphides, Kathy Vaughn, Rochelle Ward and
                                                                   Patti Witt. During  competition the group of thirty perform a dance and nine
                                                                   NCA Superstars are picked. The Tigerettes were honored to have L1sa Cox,
                                                                   Michele Paphides, and Patti Witt selelcted. All of the thirteen Superstar Girl
                                                                   Nominees  chosen  were  asked  to  participate  in  either  the  Aloha  Bowl  in
                                                                   Hawaii or the St. Patricks Day parade in Ireland. Michele Paphides and Patti
                                                                   Witt  chose  to  go  to  Hawaii  and  dance  in  the  Aloha  Bowl  over  Christmas
                                                                   vacation. Also,  Michele  Paphides,  last  year's  drill  down  winner,  received
                                                                   recognition  for  the  runner  up  spot  in  this  years'  competition.


        Michele Paphides and  Patti Witt were very excited as they stood over the Aloha Bowl in
        Hawaii.  They were  getting  ready to perform.
