French Club is involved in several new activities this year. As a service
project, in conjunction with Tammy Williams (Miss CHA}, we are collect-
ing paperbacks and magazines to send to our troops involved in Opera-
tion Desert Shield. Several of our members are fund-raising to help defer
costs of a "bon voyage" to France. Also, our students are planning to
participate in "LeGrand Concours," a national French Contest sponsored
