CBE Club is a co-op club where all members in the club are employed in an office
position; they are members of a class as well as a club. CBE is designed to train
students in jobs which relate to secretarial and clerical work. It is a flexible plan
for training seniors in opportunities in the business world. Students "earn
while they learn." It is joint effort by school, community, and student. CBE
Goals: develop competent. skilled employees, strengthen confidences of st1:1dents
in themselves and their work, and create understanding and interest in the
American business enterprise.
CBE activities: Car Wash, Occidental Halloween Festival, Homecoming Parade,
Guest Speakers, CBE Employer Appreciation Luncheon, Early-Bird Breakfast,
End of School Party.
