Drama: Playing the Part
Drama and acting classes offer many
opportunities for the broadening of a
student's liberal education. One can learn
how to deal with people, how to respond to
varied and changing situations, and, most
importantly, how to act in musicals,
comedies, and dramas.
The drama and acting classes also
perform several plays each year. Among
those on the pia ybi II for the 93-94 season
were "Hello Out There," "The Happy
journey from Trent to Camden," and "The
Lottery," three one-act plays performed in
a triage.
Among the many players offering
outstanding performances were Sam Little,
D.]. LeGault, and Trevor Williams. Says
senior D.J. of drama: "It's not just that I
enjoy the class, it's like a drug I need to Fed up with kids? Megan Coonce and Kelly Hilton

Mr. Wilson, a teacher at Columbia
High School for seven years, is not only a
drama and acting teacher. He also teaches
several periods of math classes. And, as can
be seen from his performance in
Homecoming, he is also a funny and vivid
actor himself.
