This summer, schools across Florida sent some of
their best students to go and participate in the Florida
American Boys and Girls State program. For a week,
students worked in all three branches of state govern-
ment, city government, as well as being involved with
spirit activities and passing Bar exams. By the end of the
week, they had all felt the accomplishment ofhaving
participated in passing legislature, solving mock-disasters,
and trying actual cases in the future lawyers, congressmen
& women, teachers, doctors, and even Presidents-
meetings as strangers and leaving as brothers and sisters.
