Some Stuff I Wrote and Some Stuff I Didn't (2011) H. Morris Williams
I do not know where the Home Economics building was moved to. The
school building was tom down and the lumber used by the county.
I went back to the school site and was sad to find I cannot go home to
Mason School anymore.
I extend a special thanks to Mrs. Cloree Bailey, Miss Myrtice Witt,
Erman Douglas, Mrs. Elizabeth Witt at the Superintendent’s office and
others that helped me to research the information about how Mason
School began.
To my classmates on this 40th year since we graduated from dear old
Mason High School, I am glad we shared those days of growing up and
learning the things we should know to go out into the world.
To all the teachers we had through the years, thanks a million! We could
not be where we are today without the help you gave us.
To all the graduates through the years Mason School was here. Mason
school buildings are gone, but in our hearts nothing can take away the
memories of the days we lived, played, learned and grew up there.
