GRANDMA'S CASSEROLE CAROLYN CANNON
Sauce:
Saute in margarine or non-stick cooking spray,
1 C chopped onion
1 green pepper, sliced
1/2 to 1 C chopped celery
Add:
1 pound ground turkey (uncooked)
1 tsp seasoned salt
pinch of oregano & garlic
1 T sugar
1 - 16 oz. can chopped tomatoes
1 - 16 oz. can tomato sauce
2 C water
1 small can mushrooms
Simmer 15 minutes.
Using a 9x13 pan sprayed with non-stick cooking
spray, add 6 oz. uncooked egg noodles. Cover with all
sauce mixture. Bake at 350 for 30 minutes. Add 8 oz.
shredded Mozzarella cheese - bake 15 minutes more. Let
stand 15 minutes before cutting. Serves 8.
FMG'S CRABMEAT BISQUE FRANK GAFFORD
3 C low fat milk 3 T cornstarch dissolved
1 tsp sugar in 1/4 C water
1 oz cream sherry Molly McButter - to taste
1/2-1 pound crabmeat - artificial is good
Dash of Hungarian paprika
Mix and stir over low heat in non-stick pan until thick.
Serves Four - Deliciously!
