The Tigers practice six hard days a week to

The boys started the season off with a 3-0
record. These w1ns were over Jefferson
County, Live Oak, and Bolles The Tigers
beat all three teams by at least 20 points.
"Bucholz was our toughest team to beat. The
first time we played they beat us by 20
points. But when the second battle came we
were ready for revenge, and we beat them
by 30 points," says Brandon Barber. The
boys had key wins over Bolles, Lincoln, and
Bucholz High School. These w1ns were
partly made poss1ble by veterans M1chael
Jernigan, and Chris Caradine and Brandon
Barber. The boys matched up with three of
the five district teams and had a 4-2 record,
with double w1ns over St.Augustine and went
1-1 with both Orange Park and Lincoln.
The Tigers had an overall great season.
Coach Brown had two players pulled up to
Varsity for the District Tournament, Bran-
don Barber and Darren McCook. Tryouts
for the 98-99 season will be held 1n the fall
of next year.
