Some Stuff I Wrote and Some Stuff I Didn't (2011) H. Morris Williams

He asked the church to come to the Altar to pray for me. Those who
were close enough, lay their hand on me and if they could not touch me

they touched someone who was touching me.

Then the Pastor asked if I would like to be anointed with oil and the
Deacons pray for me - of course I said yes. It was a special experience.

After church, my friend stopped to pick up some sandwiches for lunch

and dropped me off at home. As I was eating my lunch , I realized
something was happening to my left eye.

I opened both my eyes, I was not dizzy and I saw only one lamp sitting

on the table. I looked from one thing to another and saw only one of

each. I did not have double vision! ! Oh the joy ! ! Praise God ! He had
healed my eye.

I cannot, with mere words, make you understand the awe and wonder

that I feel for the love and mercy of our Heavenly Father. I pray that

you too know that love.

(Elsie is a lifelong Christian, a mainstay of Pine Grove Baptist Church,

a former business-woman, a 30 year volunteer at the Christian Service

Center, and was honored recently (October, 2017) on her 90th birthday.)
