LARRY ADAMS MEMORIAL ... Larry Adams was one of our great Tiger players who
stayed in Lake City after graduation and became one of our most dedicated and inspirational
community leaders. Larry died recently of cancer but up until the very time of his death he was still
working on community projects. To honor Larry’s memory, the Larry W. Adams Memorial
Scholarship Endowment has been established. The scholarship monies will never be spent. The
interest will be used to fund a yearly scholarship for a worthy CHS student. Donations may be sent
to the Columbia County Bank (attention Marcia Dow), P. O. Box 1609, Lake City, FL 32056.
Questions should be directed to Jim Register at 752-2556.

THIS AND THAT... There used to be a movie about Lake City called “My Home Town.”
Are there copies still around somewhere?. . . A newspaper writeup of the 1938 CHS football
banquet says a color movie was shown during the program showing the highlights of the football
