                                       Official Ballot.
                                  Special Bond Election.                          164/257
                                                       August 1st, 1905.
                     Make a cross mark before the word “For” or
                the word “Against” accordingly as you approve or
                disapprove of the issuance of bonds as proposed.
                     ...........For approval of the issuance of the bonds
                proposed to be issued.
                     ...........Against approval of the issuance of the
                bonds proposed to be issued.
                     Each cross mark on said ballot in front of the
                word “For” shall constitute a vote in favor of
                approving the proposition to issue the said bonds
                as provided for in and by this ordinance and each
                such cross mark in front of the word “Against” shall
                constitute a vote against approving said proposi­
                tion.
                     If the issuance of bonds as herein proposed and
                submitted to be approved by the electors be ap­
                proved by a majority of the votes so cast, then the
                bonds so proposed to be issued shall be authorized
                and from time to time shall be sold and delivered
                as the proceeds are needed for the purposes for
                which they are authorized.
                    Sec. 14. The Mayor shall, at least three days
                before the day of said election, appoint three in­
                spectors and a clerk of election to hold said elec­
                tion and shall designate a convenient and suitable
                polling place at or near the usual polling place in
                said City. If any inspector or clerk of said elec­
                tion so appointed fails to attend at the proper poll­
                ing place at the time for opening the polls on the
                day of election, those inspectors present shall fill
                the vacancies and if all the inspectors be absent,
                then those present qualified to vote shall fill the
