the City of Lake City, a Municipal Corporation
organized and existing in Columbia County, Flor­ 159/257
ida, to issue bonds for the purchase of Public
Utilities and other Municipal purposes and to pro­
vide for the expenditures of moneys for Municipal
purposes and the management of Public Utilities,”
approved May 27th, 1905, and of an ordinance of the
City of Lake City entitled “An ordinance providing
for the issuance of bonds and the creation of an ex­
ecutive board under the provisions of an act of the
Legislature of the State of Florida, entitled an act
authorizing the City of Lake City, a municipal
corporation, organized and existing in Columbia
County, Florida, to issue bonds for the purchase
of public utilities and other municipal purposes
and to provide for the expenditures of moneys for
municipal purposes and the management of public
utilities,” approved May 27th, 1905 which ordin­
ance and the issue of said bonds were approved by
a majority of the votes cast at a special election
duly called and held under the provisions of said
act and ordinance on the first day of August, A. D.
1905.
It is hereby certified that the issue of bonds of
which this one is made in special conformity with
the laws of the State of Florida and an ordinance
of the City of Lake City duly authorizing same and
that all proceedings and things essential to the
validity of this bond have duly happened and been
performed and all the requirements of law and
ordinances have been fully complied with by the
proper officers in the issuance of this bond.
In testimony whereof the City of Lake City
has issued this bond bearing date the first day of
September, A. D. 1905, and has caused it to be
signed by the Mayor of said City, countersigned
